The vanity of life

Have you ever thought about the year were born, the place you were born, the family you were born into, the life that you have been given, the talents you have, the gifts you have?

In any of the things mentioned above did you make any of the choices above? Or has God ordained each of these moments on your life?

Most of the time we never take time to think about these things,we just accept that this is how life works, even God's children never take time to dwell on what we are, where we are and who we are.

When God created us, placed us, and formatted our lives it was and is for a purpose, there are no coincidences, nothing is left to fate , or karma. Each detail of our lives is ordained by God, now I am not saying we are mindless creatures , we make choices along the way that God does not want us to make, and we deal with the consequences of those choices.

Free will comes into play once we become a child of God, until then we unwillingly serve sin.

But things in our lives  happen as God molds us into the men and women He created us to be, if we with child like faith would trust Him with all areas of our lives, our lives would be in harmony with His plan.

Today you and I are given another opportunity to slow down, reflect, meditate on God's word, and see the hands of God at work in our lives. So submit, surrender and start living today as He has planned.

Proverbs 23:26 HCSB

My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.

ECC 3:1-8 HCSB

There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven: a time to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace and a time to avoid embracing; a time to search and a time to count as lost; a time to keep and a time to throw away; a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to be silent and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace.

Psalms 25:1, 4-5, 10 HCSB

Lord ,  I turn to You.   Make Your ways known to me, Lord ; teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long. All the Lord ’s ways show faithful love and truth to those who keep His covenant and decrees.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 HCSB

For I know the plans I have for you”  — this is the Lord ’s declaration — “plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.   You will seek Me  and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Romans 8:28-32 HCSB

We know that all things work together  for the good  of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.   For those He foreknew He also predestined  to be conformed to the image of His Son,  so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.   And those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified;  and those He justified, He also glorified. What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He did not even spare His own Son but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything?
